Club Team Pines

Club Team Pines was born out of the need of a healthy outdoor activity that not only promotes good health but also discipline and endurance. Roller Speed Skating offers that and much more. As a low impact sport, Speed Skating helps the cardiovascular system as well as creates endurance and muscle building. Club Team Pines is a not for profit sporting association with its only goal being to help children to develop into future leaders and athletes. Team Pines is a member of the United States Association of Roller Sports - USARS.

Objective

Club Team Pines wants to promote the Roller Speed Skating sport at a competitive and recreational levels. Physical and mental conditioning is an integral part of any sport and Roller Speed Skating not only has that as an integral part of its conditioning but also teaches respect to their fellow athletes and team mates. We want to help condition your child to be an athlete leader, capable of bringing the best of him/herself to the benefit of the entire team.

Club Team Pines wants to prepare your child to participate not only in regional or national competitions, but also international. As members of the USARS we can accomplish that, all we need is your help and dedication to the sport.

We sincerely hope you decide to give Club Team Pines a try and would love to have your child as part of Club Team Pines. Classes are held everyday at Brian Piccolo Park in Cooper City, Florida.

About the Coach

After being a skating teacher for more than 15 years, Julio Palomino got his coach’s license in the summer of 2000. In the same year he also founded Pembroke Pines Skating Club.

Through constant developments and renovated objectives, the club changed its name to TEAM PINES. Today, the team counts with many enthusiastic members that practice everyday to reach their personal and professional goals.
